Blizzard cap off November with roster additions

The Green Bay Blizzard added more players to their roster in preparation for the 2021 season.

 

The Blizzard added former Alabama A&M quarterback Damion May. May was named Southwestern Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week before transferring to the University of Charleston where he finished his collegiate playing career and earned his undergraduate degree. May will be joined behind the offensive line by the Blizzard resignee in running back Rameses Owens. Owens joined the Blizzard in late 2018 and was ranked in the top 10 in the Indoor Football League for yards per game in 2019. Green Bay also signed former Northwestern State running back Jared West to compliment Owens.  

 

On the defensive side the Blizzard brought in former Wisconsin Badgers standout David Pfaff. Pfaff played as a lineman from 2017-2019 suiting up for 9 games his senior year. Pfaff will be joined on the defensive line by Cassius Peat, a former Michigan State player that was a part of the 2015 Big Ten Conference championship. The Blizzard re-signed defensive back Christopher Thompson for another season as well.
