The peninsula's boys' basketball teams had mixed results on the opening night of the regular season.

Southern Door dropped its home opener to Denmark 69-56 ahead of its conference opener against NEW Lutheran on Thursday.

Sevastopol won its first game of the season against the Northeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschoolers Athletic Associaton 62-30.
