An empty Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee will provide a unique backdrop on Friday night as Wisconsin and Marquette renew an old rivalry.
The fourth-ranked Badgers come into the matchup undefeated with wins coming against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Eastern Illinois, and Green Bay. The Golden Eagles had similar success against UALR and Eastern Illinois, but lost to Oklahoma State their last time out. They play the Phoenix on Tuesday.
The two teams have been evenly matched since 2009, with the Badgers holding the slight one-game edge during that time. No team has had longer than a two-game winning streak against the other during that time and the home-road splits are even. The Badgers won the matchup last year 77-61, but the Golden Eagles won the last game in Milwaukee 74-69.
