Gamblers skate past Dubuque

The Green Bay Gamblers were able skate right by the Dubuque Fighting Saints, 6-2. Green Bay moved to 6-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 at home after tonight's win. Gamblers savvy veteran Cam Thiesing tallied the first goal of the match for an early first period lead over the Saints. Green Bay’s Jake Schmaltz and Ryan Kirwin both inked their first goals in Gambler uniforms, these goals sent Green Bay into the third period with a 3-0 lead. Jackson Kunz slapped in two goals himself for the Gamblers to build on the lead while Mason Lohrei found the net for a score as well. Green Bay went on a 6-0 scoring run that was eventually halted once Dubuque scored two goals midway through the third period. Gamblers goaltender Aaron Randazzo earned his second win of the season. Green Bay travels to Youngstown, Ohio on Friday to face the Phantoms for a 6:05pm puck drop.
