Vikings sail past Wolves

Gibraltar's Sam Lindenberg drilled seven three-pointers to help lead the Vikings past the Algoma Wolves 67-27 Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings were able to build up a 39-17 lead thanks to a 15-5 run in the final 6:30 of the first half. Lindenberg's threes were part of a 32 point afternoon with senior Luke Steebs pitching in another 12 points in the victory. The Wolves did their part to get to the free-throw line, drawing 16 fouls and going 10 for 17. Carter Zimmerman scored 13 points while Trevor Nell was able to chip in another four points.

The Wolves will host their next Packerland Conference game on Tuesday against Southern Door while the Vikings will see their road swing continue on Tuesday as they travel to Sevastopol.
