The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the New York Knicks on the road late Sunday evening to gather their second loss of the season, 130-110.
Milwaukee saw a struggle throughout the first quarter of play on both sides of the ball and found themselves down by three points early on, 30-27. Milwaukee did not have any help in the second quarter and found their deficit grow after New York’s Julius Randle caught fire from the field, giving his team a 61-45 lead entering halftime. Throughout the first three quarters of play New York outshot the Bucks 59% to 14.7% from three-point land. Milwaukee could not slow down New York’s Randle and Elfrid Payton down the fourth quarter stretch. Payton went three-for-three from the three-point line to seal a Knicks victory. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo gathered 27 points with 13 rebounds while Khris Middleton collected 22 points in their defeat. Milwaukee declined to 1-2 on the season and travels to South Beach on Tuesday to face the Miami Heat at 6:30pm
