There will be a new face toeing the blue line for the Green Bay Gamblers after the team picked up defenseman Owen Murray from the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League on Monday.
The UMass-Amherst commit has tallied one goal and 11 assists for the Vees after registering 15 goals and 48 assists in a similar league in his home province of Manitoba. The Gamblers dropped veteran defenseman Michael Ferrandino to make room for Murray, who is expected to make his debut with the team this weekend when they travel to Muskegon to take on the Lumberjacks.
