The Green Bay Gamblers scored in the first two minutes but could not find the back in the net again in their 4-1 loss to the Muskegon Lumberjacks Friday night.
Kyler Grundy opened the game with his third goal of the season for the Gamblers, but the Lumberjacks would respond just five minutes after with Dylan Wendt's fifth goal of the season. The eventual winning goal came in the second period when Cameron Berg scored the unassisted goal to put the Lumberjacks up 2-1. Rhett Pitlick and Philip Tresca capped off the evening with two more goals in the third.
Gamblers goalie Matt Davis stopped 31 of the 35 shots he faced in the loss. The two teams faceoff again at 6:10 p.m. Saturday.
