Bucks nipped by Nets

Giannis Anetokounmpo matched new Eastern Conference rival James Harden with 34 points, but it was not enough as the Brooklyn Nets topped the Milwaukee Bucks 125-123.

Khris Middleton scored 25 points and Jrue Holiday added 22 points in the loss for the Bucks between two of the conference's top two teams. Kevin Durant scored 30 points for the Nets, three of which came off a three-pointer made with just over 35 seconds left that ended up being the game-winner. Middleton had a chance to win the game himself on a three, but his attempt came up just short.

The Bucks saw their four-game winning streak snapped and it does not get easier this week as they now prepare to host the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
