Wrestlers from the area's four teams are preparing for the respective road to state on Saturday.
The pandemic has transferred the traditional state tournament from Madison to separate sites based on their divisions.
Luxemburg-Casco and Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol head to Two Rivers for one of the toughest Division 2 regionals in the state. In addition to Two Rivers, Luxemburg-Casco and Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol will also face Wrightstown, Brillion, Denmark, and Freedom. The line-up represents five ranked teams, including the top-ranked Spartans.
Southern Door and Kewaunee are competing in a Division 3 regional at Mishicot. Those three schools will also face Oneida Nation, Reedsville, and Valders. None of the teams are currently ranked.
The first matches are scheduled to take place at 10 a.m.
The Door County United Swimming Team is also in action on Saturday at Ashwaubenon. DC United will also be swimming against Berlin/Green Lake, Chilton Co-op, Two Rivers/Roncalli, Ashwaubenon, and Shawano Community. The team has the top competitor in six of 12 swimming events. First events take place at 11 a.m.
