The Green Bay Gamblers head east this weekend for a pair of games against Team USA.
The Gamblers swept a pair of games last weekend against the Janesville Jets of the NAHL while Team USA split their matchups against the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Head coach and general manager Pat Mikesch said earlier this week that since the games were essentially exhibition games that they were able to explore their depth and use different line combinations more than they usually can at this stage of the season.
The Gamblers have already seen the U-17 squad from Team USA a couple of times this year. Mikesch is impressed by how much they continue to develop.
The puck will drop Friday and Saturday at 6:05 p.m. You can listen to our full conversation with Mikesch on the NEW Radio Sports Network podcast page online.
