Thursday night will include the rivalry between the Southern Door Eagles and the Gibraltar Vikings Girls basketball teams.
The Southern Door Eagles are coming off of a win against the Sevastopol Pioneers 43-38 on Tuesday night. The Eagles are 12-4 on the season and are looking to gain another win before the playoffs. The Gibraltar Vikings are coming back from a loss to the N.E.W. Blazers 59-42 on Tuesday night and two weeks off due to COVID-19 protocols. The Eagle/Vikings game will be on 102.1 More FM. The pre-game is 7:00 pm and tip-off is at 7:30 pm. The student-led broadcast team of Reece Robillard and Brady Tooley will have the call.
Other girls' basketball games on Thursday include Kewaunee hosting NEW Lutheran, and Algoma playing at home against Peshtigo at 7:30 p.m. Sevastopol battles Stockbridge in Institute at 6 p.m.
