The Southern Door girls and Kewaunee boys' basketball teams were the big winners of basketball games featured by the NEW Radio Sports Network Friday night.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
On 102.1 MORE FM, Nicole Norton then led the way with 37 as the Southern Door Eagles won at home over the Gibraltar Vikings 82-46.
The Luxemburg-Casco Lady Spartans allowed only eight second-half points as it rolled to a 48-22 victory over Little Chute.
Saturday's games include Gibraltar hosting Kewaunee for a 12:30 p.m start and Algoma travels to Southern Door for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Over on 105.1 The GOAT, the Kewaunee Storm boys' basketball team used an 18-2 run at the end of the first half to cruise to an 87-55 victory over the Gibraltar Vikings on Friday night.
The Algoma Wolves could not respond to a 45 point first-half performance by NEW Lutheran in its 77-47 loss Friday night.
The Southern Door Eagles got the win they needed to clinch a share of the Packerland Conference crown against the Peshtigo Bulldogs by the score of 67-57.
The Sturgeon Bay Clippers showed life offensively in the second half of their 68-58 victory over Oconto Friday night.
Saturday's games include Luxemburg-Casco's make-up contest against Oconto Falls at 5 p.m. and Sturgeon Bay visiting Two Rivers at 7:15 p.m.
