A three-goal second period was all the Green Bay Gamblers needed to put away the Muskegon Lumberjacks 4-0 Friday night.
Matt DuBoer scored his first two goals of the season Friday night, including the second tally in the decisive middle frame. Camden Thiesing and Jackson Kunz also registered goals in the second period. Jack Schmaltz collected two assists in the game while Matt Davis earned the 32-save shutout.
The Gamblers will go for the rare three-game weekend split Saturday night at 6:10 in Muskegon.
