The Wisconsin Badgers saw their 12-point halftime lead vanish against the Michigan Wolverines on Sunday, losing the game 67-59.
The Wolverines spent the first 20 minutes shaking off the rust from its month-long layoff due to COVID-19 protocols. They ended up chipping away at the lead for most of the second half until they finally broke through against the Badgers with 7:45. The Badgers only scored six points from that point on, the Wolverines took the lead with less than three minutes remaining while also scoring the game's final eight points.
D'Mtrik Trice scored 16 points for the Badgers with Aleem Ford chipping in 15 points and Jonathan Davis adding another 11. Isaiah Livers scored a game-high 20 points for the Wolverines.
