Marquette falls to Seton Hall

Marquette could never close a six-point deficit as it fell to Seton Hall on the road on Sunday 57-51.

 

The Golden Eagles struggled from the field, making only 18 of its 60 shots including only three of its 25 shots from behind the arc. The Golden Eagles would get to within two in the final minutes of the game, but the Pirates were able to get key shots and free throws to clinch the victory. 

 

The Golden Eagles were led in scoring by DJ Carton and his 16 points as two other players also reached double figures. Jared Rhoden poured in 20 points for the Pirates. The Golden Eagles have now lost 6 of their last seven games.
