The Milwaukee Brewers added outfielder Derek Fisher on Monday, just days before spring training starts in Arizona on Wednesday.
Fisher has received Major League playing time with the Astros (2017-19) and the Blue Jays (2019-20) over the last four seasons. His hitting splits are not eye-catching (.194/.286/.376 in 458 big league plate appearances), but he offers flexibility in the field. He has made starts at all three outfield positions.
He'll have approximately seven weeks to make his case for Milwaukee when spring training opens this week.
