The Wisconsin Badgers did not struggle much in its 68-51 win over Northwestern on Sunday.
It started to be maybe one of those nights at the Welsh-Ryan Arena when the Badgers struggled from the field and the Wildcats showed they might be better than their 12-game losing streak might indicate. The Badgers were able to find their stroke late in the first half to enter the locker room with a 10-point lead. The Wildcats would get farther behind in the second half as the Badgers would extend the lead to over 20 points before settling on a 17 point win at the end.
Five different Badgers finished in double figures on the night, led by 19 points from Micah Potter. Boo Buie scored 19 for the Wildcats, but no other Northwestern player scored more than seven points in the loss.
