The Milwaukee Bucks appear to be breaking out of their mid-winter slump as they head towards their Thursday night matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.
After losing five straight, the Bucks have now won their last three games by almost 18 points per contest, including their last victory against the slumping Timberwolves on Tuesday. The Pelicans arrive for Thursday's game as a group of comeback kids. They overcame a 20-plus point deficit to beat the Boston Celtics on Sunday and were down big in the third quarter before prevailing against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. The Pelicans won Round 1 earlier this season 131-126. It was a laugher early, but the Bucks almost came back from 29 down at one point to steal the game from the Pelicans. The Bucks will be missing a big contributor from that game as Jrue Holiday as he battles back from his time on the COVID-19 list.
The game will tip off at 8:30 p.m.
