Wisconsin and Marquette lost games while Green Bay lost players in a 24-hour time frame.

In Madison, the Badgers lost to the Illinois Fighting Illini 74-69. The Badgers found themselves down 11 at the break thanks to shooting only 27 percent from the field. The Illini were without potential conference player of the year candidate Ayo Dosunmu. Kofi Cockburn tried his hand to fill the void as he led the Illini with 19 points. D'Mitrik Trice scored 29 points for the Badgers in the loss.

In Connecticut, the Golden Eagles found themselves down big against the UConn Huskies and could not close the gap as they lost 80-62. The Huskies shot almost 52 percent as James Bouknight and RJ Cole each scored over 20 points. Dawson Garcia scored 18 points for the Golden Eagles in the loss.

After losing on Thursday night in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament, the Green Bay Phoenix lost several of its players to the transfer portal. Amari Davis, Josh Jefferson, Jacob Jones, and Damontae Taylor will all seek new teams next season.
