Bucks routed by Nuggets

The Milwaukee Bucks' five-game winning streak came to an abrupt end Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum as the Denver Nuggets blew out the home team 128-97.  Denver took control of the game early by jumping off to a 37-23 first-quarter lead and never looked back.

After playing even in the second quarter, the Bucks could not mount a serious comeback as the closest they could not cut the lead into single digits in the second half.

All-Star Nikola Jovic had a huge game for Denver (20-15) with a triple-double of 37 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.  Guard Jamal Murray added 24 for the Nuggets had six players score in double figures.

The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 27 points and Khris Middleton’s 20, but Brook Lopez was the only other Milwaukee player to score in double figures with 12.

Milwaukee (20-14) will now face the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday on the road at 7 pm.
