It had to wait a year, but the Green Bay Glory is getting ready for its sophomore campaign.
A member of the Women's Pro Soccer League, the Glory announced last week it would play teams within its own division in 2021. Those teams include the Milwaukee Torrent, the Bavarian Soccer Club, the Chicago City Soccer Club, Chicago Red Stars Reserves, and the Chicago Dutch Lions FC. A final schedule has not been released, though games usually run from the end of May to late July pending playoffs.
Playing on the campus of UW-Green Bay, the Glory finished their inaugural campaign with an overall record of 4-5-1, good for 13 points and a fourth-place finish in the Midwest Conference. The team also won three of its four friendlies.
