The Milwaukee Brewers scored once in the second and third innings on Thursday. The only issue with that is that in both innings, the Kansas City Royals crossed the plate twice. This was all the scoring done in the seven-inning long affair. The Royals ended the day on top by a final score of 4-2.
The Brewers managed only three hits, one was a homerun. In the bottom off the second inning, Manny Pina took a solo home run over the centerfield fence. Garrett Mitchell accounted for the only other Brewers run. For Milwaukee, Josh Lindblom is credited with the loss and for the Royals Mike Minor was given the win. The Crew is now 6-5 in Spring Training. For the Royals, they advance to 9-3. The Brewers will return to the diamond on Friday at 2:05 P.M. to take on a familiar opponent, the Chicago Cubs.
