Bad inning dooms Brewers

All it took was one bad inning to spoil the game for the Milwaukee Brewers in a 5-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners Sunday afternoon in the desert.

The Brewers took a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning thanks to a three-run RBI double by Zach Green that scored Daniel Robertson, Tyrone Taylor, and Derek Fisher. The Mariners scored all five of their runs the following inning with Jack Reinheimer leading the rally off with a solo shot. Kyle Lewis tied the game up on a two-RBI double and Luis Torrens hit an RBI sacrifice fly to take the lead. Evan White capped off the inning with the eventual game-winner on an RBI single.  Jacob Nottingham would get the Brewers one step closer with a solo homer in the seventh, but would get no closer in the eight inning contest.

The Brewers are set to play at American Famly Fields of Phoenix Monday after at 3:10 p.m. against the San Diego Padres.
