Brewers throttled by Padres

The Milwaukee Brewers have been downed in two consecutive games after Monday’s 13-3 loss to the San Diego Padres. Milwaukee was in a hole early after giving up four runs in the top of the first inning. San Diego extended their 4-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning when Brian O’Grady hit a three-run homerun. In the bottom of inning six, Milwaukee would cut into the 7-0 lead when free agent acquisition Jackie Bradley had an RBI on a fielder's choice. Payton Henry also had an RBI single and the Brewers would end the sixth inning down 7-2.

It was a rough top half of the seventh for the Crew as San Diego would score six runs. Milwaukee would make another push in the seventh inning with a Pablo Reyes solo shot over the left-field fence. The game would end after eight innings and the final score would be 13-3 in favor of the Padres. Milwaukee will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday at 3:05 P.M.
