The Gamblers pulled away in the third period in Tuesday’s home game over the Dubuque Fighting Saints that was close throughout, 6-4. Green Bay got a boost from Damien Carfagna and Camden Thiesing who each scored a pair of goals. Also chipping in a goal each was Alex Servagno and Ryan Kirwin. Green Bay also received two assists from Mason Lohrei, which set the record for single-season points by a Defenseman, with 49 thus far. On the other end, Goalkeeper Matt Davis collected 38 saves.
Green Bay is currently in second place in the USHL Eastern Division with a 24-11-2 record and 50 points. The Gamblers will be kicking off a back-to-back weekend series on Friday when they face the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 P.M. on Friday.
