Sturgeon Bay was pushed the final three sets but still able to win its match against Sevastopol in area volleyball action Thursday night.
The Clippers needed to go into extra points in the final set to capture the 3-1 match victory over the Pioneers.
No result was reported for Gibraltar's match at Menominee Indian.
The WIAA recently released the regional assignments for the alternative spring season state tournament. The highest seed will host the day-long tournament for regionals before heading to a predetermined site for the sectional and state levels. Kewaunee was placed in the Group D Regional in Sectional 1 and will compete against Oneida Nation and Menominee Indian. Door County's four teams will compete not just for bragging rights but for a Group C Regional title in Sectional 2. Regionals will take place April 10th at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
