An electric second inning summed up the Milwaukee Brewers’ 4-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday. A second inning double by Travis Shaw brought home Daniel Vogelbach for the game’s lead-off run. Omar Narvaez would follow that with a two run homerun, scoring Travis Shaw. Milwaukee would extend the three run lead to 4-0 in the top of the fifth inning with a Lorenzo Cain RBI single. The Reds would get their lone run in the bottom of the fifth. The Brewers would end the day on top 4-1. Milwaukee has now won back to back games.
With the second straight victory the Brewers are now 10-8. Milwaukee will take the field at 3:10 P.M. on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners.
