Bucks stay hot

The Milwaukee Bucks continue to inch closer to the top seed in the NBA Eastern conference with wins like Saturday. The Bucks took down the San Antonio Spurs, 120-113 for their sixth straight victory. The Spurs would hold a 33-26 lead after the first quarter and even have a double digit in the second quarter before the Bucks evened the game out. The Bucks would outscore San Antonio in the second quarter 33-17. While San Antonio kept the game competitive throughout, a breakout 31 point performance from Lonnie Walker would not be enough for the Spurs to clear the 26 point performance from the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo.  The Greek Freak added 15 assists which ties his career high. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday each had over twenty points. Middleton had 23 and Holiday had 21. The win is the Bucks fifth since returning from All-Star Break.

Milwaukee is now 27-14 on the season. They won’t get much time to rest as they’ll be back at the Fiserv Forum on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers. The game is scheduled for 8:00 P.M.
