Brewers fall late to Mariners

The Milwaukee Brewers gave up two runs in the latter innings of its spring training game on Sunday to fall to the Seattle Mariners 3-1.

Christian Yelich opened the game's scoring with an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning to drive in Kolten Wong. Brewers pitching would give up three solo homers on the day, including a game tying knock in the next half inning to Jarred Kelenic. Julio Rodriguez's homer in the seventh and Jantzen Witte's jack in the eighth gave the Mariners the winning runs.

The Brewers travel to Goodyear on Monday to face the Cleveland Indians.
