Playing without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo could have been the MIlwaukee Bucks toughest task on their seven game victory stretch. On Tuesday night without their MVP, they routed the Indiana Pacers, 140-113. It was all Milwaukee from the start, as they would open up the game on a 19-3 run and eventually finish the first quarter ahead 48-26.
Milwaukee would have plenty of points to go around. Leading the way scoring would be Jrue Holiday with 28 points. Khris Middleton would add 25, Pat Connaughton would get 20, Bobby Portis and Brook Lopez would each score 18. The twenty-seven point victory would be the Bucks’ sixth since coming out of the All-Star break.
With the victory, Milwaukee now has a 28-14 record. The Bucks are also in third place in the East Conference standings and just a game and a half out of first. After Monday’s home win the Bucks will host again on Wednesday against the Boston Celtics. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 P.M.
