Brewers survive Dodgers run

In a game where the Milwaukee Brewers got scored on out of the gate, they were able to roll the Los Angeles Dodgers the rest of the way in a 9-6 win. The Dodgers would start the scoring with a two run slam from Justin Turner in the top of the first. That would be the last of their scoring until the final frame. The Brewers would have an active day at the plate, scoring nine runs on Dodgers’ Starting Pitcher Walker Buehler through 4 ? innings. Milwaukee would jump on top in the bottom of the first as after solo home runs by Keston Hiura, Christian Yelich, and Omar Narvaez to make it 3-2. After a Kolten Wong RBI single scored Luis Urias, Keston Hiura would go yard once again and bring home Wong. After just two complete innings the Brewers lead 6-2.

In the fifth inning Milwaukee would pad their lead on an RBI double from Billy McKinney that scored Dylan Cozens. Jamie Westbrook would come in to pinch run for McKinney and score on a Luis Urias double that brought Omar Narvaez home as well. The Brewers would leave the fifth inning ahead 9-2. The Crew would outlast a Dodgers 4 run effort in the top of the ninth and hold on for the 9-6 victory.

Milwaukee’s Corbin Burnes earned the victory on the hill. Brewers’ All-Star Josh Hader pitched .2 innings, and gave up a walk but earned two strike-outs. The victory puts the Brewers record at 12-9 in Spring Training. Milwaukee will take on the Rockies on Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 3:10 P.M.
