Kuehn earns spot on WBCA squad

When the WBCA All-Star Game selections came out this week, Sevastopol’s Zoe-Rose Kuehn was given a chance to compete in her preps career one more time. Kuehn left an impression in the stat book scoring more than 1000 career points. Kuehn wasn’t surprised when she heard the news, but she was excited to play another game. She also is looking forward to playing with the other All-Star teammates as well as against the All-Star level of competition.

Kuehn’s credentials go further than just the 1000 points, as she has been All-Packerland in three straight seasons and first team in two of those.  While her individual accolades are impressive, she credits the program she is part of with teaching her life lessons.

Zoe’s coach, Ben Rikkola, knew that Kuehn had the perseverance to get through this last season that was filled with adjustments. Rikkola made the notion that she had several strong qualities that translated to her basketball success.

As Kuehn finishes up her volleyball season and looks ahead to graduation, she has her college path picked out. Next semester Kuehn will be studying Accounting at UW-Lacrosse, and be part of their 2025 graduating class.
