Streak snapped: Bucks lose to Celtics

A game that was even throughout the first half slid the Celtics way in the third quarter in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 122-114 loss to the Boston Celtics. The Bucks would trail by just five points at the half, 60-55. Winning the third quarter big for the Celtics would be the difference maker as they would lead by as much as twenty points. The fourth quarter would start with Boston ahead 103-89. The gap would get closed a bit in the fourth, but not enough for the Bucks. Milwaukee would fall by eight and lose their first game after an eight-game winning streak. This is Milwaukee’s first loss since the All-Star break.

Khris Middleton was the Bucks leading scorer with 19. Giannis Antetokounmpo would score 16 and grab 8 rebounds. The Bucks record is now 29-15, and they are in third place in the East Conference. They will look to pick up steam in Saturday’s matchup with the New York Knicks. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
