Injury riddled as Bucks drop second straight

After having their eight game winning streak snapped on Friday, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to avoid building a streak in the opposite direction. The Bucks fell in their second straight game on Saturday, this time to the New York Knicks. The game was tied late, but the Knicks pulled away for a 102-96 win over Milwaukee. With reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo out, as well as three other starters, it was Giannis’ older brother who stepped up in the box score for Milwaukee.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo scored a career high 23 points in the losing effort. Jordan Nwora also dropped 21, and Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton each grabbed twelve points. The Bucks are now 29-16 this season and in third place in the East Conference standings. The next contest for Milwaukee is on Monday at 9:00 PM against the Los Angeles Clippers. The game is set to be played at the Staples Center.
