Giannis Antetokounmpo showed why he was the MVP last season on Friday when the Milwaukee Bucks made short work of the Portland Trail Blazers. The Bucks took a first quarter, 34-21 lead. At the half they lead 60-53. The Bucks separated in the third quarter out-scoring the Blazers by 17. In the fourth, Milwaukee finished off a 127-109 victory.
Giannis was in MVP form on Friday with 47 points and 12 rebounds. Jrue Holiday had 22 points and Khris Middleton had 20. The Bucks are 31-17 and in third place in the East conference. The next time they will be in action is on Saturday in Sacramento to face the Kings.
