Though Green Bay Gamblers goalie Matt Davis won’t get the weekend to defend the net due to the Green Bay Gamblers games against Youngstown being called off, he will get to claim the top spot for goalies in the USHL this weekend. Earlier this week, he was named the USHL Goalie of the week. The twenty year old Calgary native went 2-0 last week, offering a GAA of 1.62 and a 93.5% save percentage.
If all things are clear for next week, the Gamblers will hit the road on April 9th for a back to back against Team USA.
