In an off-season where the Green Bay Packers have prioritized keeping their own players in house, they continue by signing Safety Will Redmond. Will Redmond is a Safety who has been used in a variety of ways in his three seasons with Green Bay. In his three seasons in green and gold, Redmond has recorded 65 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 QB hits, and 2 passes defended. Redmond enters the sixth year of his career and Green Bay is where he has made his longest lasting impression. Redmond was a third round pick by San Francisco in 2016 but never appeared in a game due to injuries. Redmond spent November 2017 to August of 2018 with Kansas City before latching on in Green Bay. A lot of familiar faces will be in the Packers secondary, as they’ve re-signed Kevin King and Chandon Sullivan as well. Redmond, who has provided secondary depth for three seasons, will try to find his niche in new Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry’s defense.
