Parity has been on display this Volleyball season in the peninsula’s Packerland conference. The most recent standings show a tight race between neighboring schools, Sturgeon Bay and Sevastopol, who are vying for first place. Sevastopol has a 4-0 conference record and Sturgeon Bay’s is 3-1. Just behind the Clippers and Pioneers are the Eagles of Southern Door with a 2-2 record in conference. Three teams are below .500 but still competitive. Kewaunee’s conference record is 1-2, and they are in fourth place. Gibraltar, who has improved throughout the season, is in fifth place at 2-3 in conference play. Algoma is in search of their first win, and have a Packerland record of 0-4. The wolves came close to their first win against Kewaunee, falling in five sets.
