Bucks drop third straight

Milwaukee returned home from their west-coast road trip on Friday, but couldn’t leave their recent struggles there. Friday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets marked their third straight. Milwaukee was without their big three in Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton in their 127-119 loss. After one quarter, Charlotte had a five-point advantage, up 32-27. They would extend the lead to eleven at the halftime break with the score 66-55 in favor of the Hornets. They would separate even further in the third quarter and go into the final quarter up 100-81. Milwaukee would inch closer in the fourth quarter, but not close enough as they would take the eight-point loss.

Jordan Nwora would take advantage of the increased playing time, leading Bucks scorers with 24. Jeff Teague would score 19 and Brynn Forbes would also have 18 of his own. The Bucks are still in third place in the East standings and four games out of the top spot. Their record is 32-20 and they will head to Florida on Sunday to face the Orlando Magic. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
