Brewers stall out in rivalry loss

After a two run inning to take a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second, the Brewers were unable to find their bats again, getting just three hits in a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Luis Urias belted a two run home run in the bottom of the second that scored Manny Pina and that would be all the scoring for Milwaukee.

The Brewers would retain the lead after giving up one run in the top of the fourth inning, but in the top of the eighth inning the Brewers would be taken over, giving up two more runs. Chicago would hold the 3-2 lead until the end and claim victory. Milwaukee is now 6-5 on the season and will finish out their series against the Cubs on Wednesday at 12:40 PM in Milwaukee.
