Brewers take out brooms in San Diego

The Milwaukee Brewers got out of a ninth inning jam in Wednesday’s win over the San Diego Padres. Milwaukee looked destined to drop their only game of the series as they were down 2-1, until a three-run frame in the top of the sixth inning which brought the game to its final 4-2 score. Milwaukee scored their first run in the top of the fourth inning with a Jace Pederson single that brought Omar Narvaez home.

Omar Narvaez would help the Crew again in the top of the sixth with a two run home run that also scored Travis Shaw. Jace Pederson would follow this with a solo shot of his own. Milwaukee is now 11-7 and will renew their rivalry with the Chicago Cubs on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:20 PM at Wrigley Field.
