Being hot and cold as of late, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to put the pieces together to beat the East’s top team, the Philadelphia 76ers, 124-117. The Bucks were ready to go from tip-off, ending the first quarter with a 40-26 lead. At the half, Milwaukee led 77-60. After three, the lead was extended to 108-87. Philadelphia would have a fourth quarter surge, and narrow the gap. It would not be enough as Milwaukee would lead at the buzzer by seven.
Milwaukee is now 36-22 and will host a rematch with the 76ers on Saturday. Tip-off for Saturday’s matchup is scheduled for 2:30 PM. Milwaukee is in third place in the East standings, and two and a half games behind Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
