Track preview: Algoma, Kewaunee host opening day meets

All seven area schools on the mainland will head to track meets on Tuesday as the season officially gets underway.

Like all spring sports, it will be the first time track athletes have been able to compete since the 2019 season.

In Northeastern Conference action, Luxemburg-Casco will travel to Denmark to face the host school and Waupaca. The meet begins at 4:00 p.m.

Packerland Conference teams will be split up for their first meet of the season with Algoma hosting Gibraltar, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran High School, Oconto, and Sevastopol while Kewaunee will have visits from Peshtigo, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay. Both meets begin at 4:30 p.m.
