Milwaukee took to the middle innings of Tuesdays game to take an advantage on their way to a 5-4 win over the Miami Marlins. Miami scored the opening run in the top of the first with a sac fly. The next inning Milwaukee scored two runs with solo home runs by Adrian Houser and Tyrone Taylor, giving the Crew a 2-1 lead.
In the fourth and fifth inning, the two teams each traded runs. In the fourth, Tyrone Taylor brought home Jackie Bradley Jr. on a fielder’s choice. Luis Urias brought home Keston Hiura in the bottom of the fifth and the Brewers final run came in the sixth off of another RBI by Tyrone Taylor as Pablo Reyes scored. The Brewers would hold on to the win and their record is now 14-9. The Brewers will finish their homestand against the Marlins on Wednesday at 12:40 PM.
