The area's Packerland Conference teams will get to have their opening day on Thursday.

Sturgeon Bay will open its season with a doubleheader at Oconto beginning at 4 p.m. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Algoma will host its doubleheader against Southern Door, and Gibraltar will face Sevastopol in its own twinbill. Kewaunee will play a single game against Manitowoc Lincoln on the road at 4:30 p.m.

Luxemburg-Casco will look to rebound from Tuesday's loss with a non-conference game at 4:30 p.m. on the road against Green Bay Notre Dame.
