Brewers' Taylor delivers game-winner over Marlins

A game lacking offense had to be settled in extras as the Milwaukee Brewers were able to leave Miami with a 2-1 game and series win Sunday afternoon.

Brewers slugger Dan Vogelbach hit his third homer of the year in the fourth inning to open the game's scoring, only to have it matched by former prospect Lewis Brinson in the seventh with a solo shot. With a man on second base per MLB rules, Tyrone Taylor delivered the game-winning RBI single to drive in Pablo Reyes after the Marlins chose to walk Vogelbach. Drew Rasmussen delivered on the back end, earning the save with Josh Hader picking up the win.

The Brewers now jet to Milwaukee to take on the division-leading Cardinals at American Family Field beginning at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
