Unlike other sports this season, the end-of-the-season prize remains the same for WIAA track athletes this season.
The WIAA announced on Wednesday that its state track meet would remain at Veterans Memorial Stadium on the campus of UW-LaCrosse. With the exception of the canceled 2020 meet, the campus has hosted every state track meet since 1990.
Several local athletes are ranked in the top 3 in their individual events at their upcoming WIAA Regional Meets to be held June 14th before sectionals on June 17th and state the following weekend in LaCrosse. NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com will soon have the results from Tuesday's Packerland Conference Meet posted, which features several of those athletes.
