The Milwaukee Brewers would exchange runs in Wednesday’s loss to the Kansas City Royals up until the bottom of the seventh inning. The Brewers led 3-2 after the top of the sixth, and would be down 4-3 after seven innings. The Royals would score two more runs to cushion their lead to 6-3 after eight innings. The Brewers would add one run in the top of the ninth but it wouldn’t be enough as the Royals would take the victory, 6-4. Milwaukee will have Thursday off before shifting gears for the road game against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 PM.
