Ejected fans see tougher fate

Much like players, fans at WIAA sporting events could face consequences beyond just one contest. The association which governs Wisconsin's high school sports passed a rule that fans who are ejected will now be prohibited from viewing the next sporting event. The rule change is an attempt for fans to think twice before acting out toward officials, coaches, and others by seeing longer-term repercussions if ejected. The new rule couples with legislation passed in the Wisconsin state senate and assembly.
